Back-To-School Challenge Results: What I Kept!

So, this year’s Back-To-School Shopping Challenge got a bit away from me in terms of keeping track of what I bought since I started donating mid-way through. I was bringing so much in, and then turning around and giving it away, that I stopped making note of what I was spending. Now that I know I will be donating as I go, hopefully I can keep better records next year!

However, I thought I would give you a look at the items I kept for my own home office. As you can see, it’s a lot! Despite donating the vast majority of items I purchased between July and September, I still accumulated a ton of stuff. Perhaps a bit too much, haha! Needless to say, if the opportunity to donate or share with friends comes up before next year, I have plenty to spare! 😉

Here is a closer look at my shelves; everything was purchased at either Staples, Target, or Walgreens.

Ah, copy paper! The open package on the top left is from the last ream from last year’s shopping; the other seven reams were purchased at Staples this summer using coupons and Easy Rebates. I estimate I spent about $4 for all of this paper!

Pens, pens, and more pens! Yikes, that’s a LOT of pens! I should be embarrassed…but I love me some pens! I also have bunches of Sharpies, mechanical pencils, glue sticks, glue, markers, and Post-It notes. Too many to count….or maybe I don’t want to be publically shamed by admitting how many I actually have! 😉

Second to my love of pens is my obsession with notebooks! I also have clear sheet protectors, tab dividers, and construction paper. I am ready to tackle any binder or planner project that comes my way (never mind that there are no such projects on the horizon!).

I am so thankful for this stockpile of office supplies….and I am even more thankful that I can pull the curtain to hide my hoard!!! :-O
