Check Out My New Amazon Influencer Page!

I am so excited to share with you my new Amazon Influencer Page! This is a new program Amazon has just released for social media influencers, i.e. people like me who make money online, including with social media. For now, the program is only open to those with a YouTube channel; but it sounds like they’ll be expanding the program for those who aren’t on YouTube but do have Twitter, Facebook, and/or Instagram.

If you are familiar with Amazon’s “A-Stores”, the Influencer program is similar. A-Stores allowed those signed up as Amazon Associates, Amazon’s affiliate program, to create a stand-alone website with links to Amazon products. If you had an A-Store and someone went through your link to shop on Amazon, you’d earn a commission, just like you would with a direct product link on it’s own. However, Amazon recently announced they were discontinuing with A-Stores, effective tomorrow, 10/27.

However, the new Amazon Influencer Pages are pretty much identical to A-Stores in terms of function; the only difference is that they don’t appear to users as a stand-alone site, but are instead right on Amazon.

For someone like me who not only has Kindle books and Amazon Merch tee shirts available but also recommends Ebay business products on Amazon, my new Amazon Influencer Page feature is perfect. Now I can have all of the products I’ve both created and use under one URL. This will allow me to easily refer people to one page where they can see my books and shirts plus Ebay supplies.

If you are already signed up as an Amazon Associate and have a YouTube channel, be sure to apply for an Amazon Influencer Page asap. The site says it may take several days for approval, but I was approved in less than 24 hours. I’ll now be adding my Amazon Influencer Page link to all of my social media accounts to hopefully drive traffic there to earn affiliate income!

Halloween may still be a week away, but it’s already Christmas at Dollar Tree! Whether you prefer to shop in-store or online (or both!), you’ll find everything you need to make the holidays festive at Dollar Tree. And, of course, all items are only $1.

Nothing says Christmas like a Christmas tree; and Dollar Tree has everything you need to dress yours up. From ribbon and garland to ornaments and tree skirts, you’ll find décor in all different styles. My favorites are the Candy Cane Tree Ornaments pictured above, which you can purchase by the case for only $12. Even better, you can choose FREE in-store pickup.

In addition to their every day selection of candy and gift wrap, Dollar Tree brings out even more for the holidays. I always stock up on $1 gift bags, cards, and tissue paper; and their huge selection of festive foods and sweets make for easy stocking stuffers.

Speaking of stocking stuffers, you’ll find lots of gifts to fill not only stockings but also to give your co-workers, neighbors, family, and friends. Fill a Dollar Tree Christmas coffee mug with a few $1 holiday candies and pop it into a $1 gift bag for a quick, easy and affordable gift that’s perfect for teachers, hair stylists, and anyone else you want to give a little something extra to.

And finally, if you are a crafter, you’ll definitely want to check out the Tips & Ideas section on the Dollar Tree website for all sorts of creative ideas for decorations and gifts! I personally love the miniature trees pictured below. CLICK HERE to visit the Dollar Tree website to see all of their holiday items; and be sure to leave me a comment below if you’ve already been shopping the Christmas selection at Dollar Tree this year! 🙂

Recipe: Mac & Cheese Corn Casserole!

This post may contain paid affiliate links.

If you are looking for a family and budget friendly dish to throw together (either as an entrée or side), then check out my Mac & Cheese Corn Casserole! This super easy casserole is perfect for weekend nights as it takes minutes to put together and just an hour to bake; and you likely already have the ingredients in your pantry.

I use good ol’ Kraft Macaroni & Cheese for mine, but any boxed variety will do. Simply use the milk and butter measurements (if any) according to the package directions. No need to cook the noodles as they bake up perfectly in the corn sauce!

  • Kraft Macaroni & Cheese noodles and cheese
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup (half stick) of melted butter
  • 1 can whole kernel corn (drained)
  • 1 can creamed corn

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray a casserole dish with non-stick spray
  3. In a bowl, mix together the dry macaroni, dry cheese powder, milk, and butter until well combined.
  4. Add in both cans of corn, mixing well
  5. Pour entire mixture into the casserole dish
  6. Cover and bake for one hour
